Polished Crystal Evolution Stones & Items: Locations and Evolutions

Introduction

Evolution items trigger evolutions for specific Pokémon in Polished Crystal. This guide covers all evolution items in the game, including where to find them and which Pokémon they evolve. Items are used either directly from your bag or held by a Pokémon while it levels up.

Quick lookup

Use the table below when you already know the item or evolution you want. Each item section lists compatible Pokémon first, followed by every listed location and acquisition method. For full Pokémon-specific requirements, compare the Pokémon Pokédex. For Hidden Grotto item sources, see the Hidden Grottoes guide.

This compact matrix is a starting point for the most common lookups. The linked item headings below contain the complete compatible-Pokémon list and all recorded acquisition locations; “locations” here names the quickest verified place to start looking, not a ranking of every source.

For a specific Pokémon, find its row in the Evolves list under the item heading, then use that section’s Locations list. In Polished Crystal, the “trade item” group uses a held item during level-up rather than requiring a link trade; the direct-use items are selected from the Bag instead.
