Plain: Every time it yawns, Shellder injects more poison into it. The poison makes it more intelligent.
Galarian: A combination of toxins and the shock of evolving has caused Shellder to take control of Slowking.
Slowking is a pokemon with a good Special Attack stat and a lot of bulk consideirng the Special Defense BST too! When it has the ability Regenerator it only regains HP on switch out, but otherwise the abilities in my opinion are maybe a little mid. Nasty Plot as a move pairs well with the extra high Special Attack it has, which is nice with Psychic or even Fire Blast for coverage!
