Born deep underground, this Pokémon becomes a pupa after eating enough dirt to make a mountain.
Larvitar is basically baby baby Tyranitar. The thing is that it takes a while to evolve and isn't available in the wild until late game. As a common favorite, this is kind of a bummer. That being said, once it slowly evolves it can become a very key Pokemon in your team. The abilities that it has stacked up with it are solid, considering Guts will boost its attack in any status condition and Battle Armor prevents critical hits. If you need it early game, you'll have to use Wonder Trade.
