Ho-Ohin Pokémon Polished Crystal
Pokédex Entry
Rainbow Pokémon
It will reveal itself before a pure-hearted trainer by shining its bright rainbow-colored wings. Ho-Oh needs the Rainbow Wing, which ALSO means you need to catch all three legendary dogs and then also beating the Elite Four. Then you can go to the Tin Tower Roof where Ho-Oh is at Level 75. Its a long process to get here! Ho-Oh is the more offensive counterpart to Lugia. Sacred Fire is great - 50% burn chance plus STAB makes it hurt! Regenerator heals you when you switch out, so you can hit hard and pivot to something else. Brave Bird for secondary STAB, Earthquake or Recover for the last slots. Like Moltres, it hates Stealth Rock, but Regenerator helps offset that. Also banned from Battle Tower. Remember, every Legendary will have 3 perfect IVs when caught.
