Drought is the opposite ability of Drizzle in Polished Crystal. When a Pokémon with Drought enters battle, it causes harsh sunlight to appear for 5 turns like the move Sunny Day unless extended by other moves or abilities.
This ability is beneficial for Fire type Pokémon as it boosts the power of Fire moves by 50% and weakens Water type moves by 50%.
Additionally, it allows Solar Beam to be used without a charging turn, Healing Light will heal more of the user's HP, and Growth will increase both stats more. Even further, it also diminishes the accuracy of Thunder to 50%.
