Pokédex Entry

Flame Pokémon

The sinister aura that blazes like molten fire around this Pokémon is what inspired the name Moltres. Moltres is deep in Cinnabar Volcano B2F at Level 65. Bring some Burn Heals because it has a lot of Fire types. The path is pretty straightforward once you're inside though. Moltres hurts!!! You can use Fire Blast or Flamethrower for STAB, Hurricane if you want Flying coverage. Flame Body means physical attackers risk a burn just by touching you. The big problem is that 4x Rock weakness. If you're facing a rock move that hurts on entry - I just wouldn't switch out. When Moltres works it works great, but that Rock weakness is ROUGH. Catching all three birds triggers the Lawrence event which gets you the Silver Wing for Lugia. Remember, every Legendary will have 3 perfect IVs when caught.
