Route 30

Route 30 contains Mr. Pokemon's house. Visiting him is Professor Oak, who gives you your Pokedex. Mr. Pokemon gives you an Odd Egg that proves to be revolutionary in the study of Pokemon evolution. Later on in the game, giving Mr. Pokemon a Red Scale from a very special Gyarados will reward you with a Shiny, Perfect DV Ditto with a differing Original Trainer ID to yours - perfect for Masuda Breeding.
