Noctowlin Pokémon Polished Crystal

ghostflying

Pokédex Entry

Owl Pokémon

Its extremely soft feathers make no sound in flight. It silently sneaks up on prey without being detected. Noctowl is a Ghost/Flying-type Pokémon in Polished Crystal that evolves from Hoothoot at level 20. It is an early, durable special attacker: 100 HP and 96 base Special Attack/Special Defense make it much sturdier than its 70 base Speed suggests. For a straightforward playthrough set, use its level-up Ghost and Flying STAB. Hex is especially useful after Hypnosis lands, Air Slash is the reliable Flying option, and Roost gives Noctowl real staying power. Moonblast at level 51 rounds out its coverage. Tinted Lens is the ability to look for -- resisted attacks still deal useful chip, which makes Noctowl less dependent on finding the perfect matchup.
