Charizardin Pokémon Polished Crystal

firedragon

Pokédex Entry

Flame Pokémon

It uses its wings to fly high. The temperature of its fire increases as it gains experience in battle. Charizard is only achievable via Wonder Trade or evolving a Charmander, which isn't available until later in the game. Charizard though can run Dragon Dance physical sets or special with Fire Blast due to its almost even Attack and Special Attack stats. Fire/Flying, or Fire/Dragon in Polished, is its main typeset. Either versions have good matchups, so you can make both of them work. If you want one pre-Elite Four, I would park at Wonder Trade for a while for a Pokemon in the chain before you move on.
