In-Game Trades

Every Soulgold in-game NPC trade, what the trainer wants and what you get back, including the Meltan and Hisuian Voltorb trades.
Last updated: September 27, 2026

Every in-game trade registered in Soulgold, with the trainer, the location, what they ask for and what you receive, is in the table below.

What is worth trading for

A few of these are more than flavour:

  • Hisuian Voltorb in Olivine, for a Mareanie.
  • Meltan in Rinto Village, for a Tinkaton.
  • Gabite in Blackthorn City, for a Dragonair.
  • Honedge in the Goldenrod Department Store, for a Clefairy.
  • Galarian Slowpoke in Azalea, for a regular Slowpoke.
  • Pawmi in Violet City, for a Cottonee.

Trades are not shiny-locked in this hack, so if you are chasing the 1/256 odds there is no reason to avoid them. The traded Pokémon arrives at a set level and cannot be renamed to suit a Nuzlocke tracker, which is the one practical reason to think twice.
