Synchronize is an ability that passes on status conditions to the opponent if the Pokémon with Synchronize becomes affected by a status condition such as Poison, Burn, or Paralysis. For example, if a Pokémon with Synchronize is poisoned, the opposing Pokémon that inflicted the poison will also become poisoned. This ability can be strategically used to deter opponents from inflicting status conditions, as they risk being affected themselves! If your lead Pokémon has Synchronize, wild Pokémon and gift Pokémon will have the same nature as the lead Pokémon!
