Intimidatein Pokémon Polished Crystal

Intimidate is an ability that lowers the Attack stat of all opposing Pokémon by one stage when the user enters battle. When paired with certain moves or strategies, it can significantly reduce the physical damage output of opponents which can quickly turn the tide of battle! In Polished Crystal, Intimidate can be found on several Pokémon including Growlithe, Arcanine, and Gyarados. If your lead Pokémon has Intimidate as its ability, the encounter rate for wild Pokémon is cut in half, IF the wild Pokémon is at least 5 levels lower.
