Effect

Restores HP during battle. (Hold) I'll be honest, Leftovers is probably the single most reliable held item in the game. For this item, when the turn happens your Pokémon will regain 1/16 of its HP back. While it doesn't sound like very much, over a longer battle it adds up fast, especially on bulkier Pokémon that can stay in battle longest! This is my go-to for pretty much anything meant to outlast the opponent unless finding an item that fits the battle a bit more. If you're running Protect, Substitute, or any kind of recovery move, Leftovers just makes those stall turns even more valuable since you're passively healing on top of everything else. Not sure what to slap on a defensive Pokémon? Leftovers is rarely the wrong call.
