Poison Point

Poison Point is an ability that has a 30% chance to poison an opponent that makes physical contact with the Pokémon possessing this ability. This means that if an opponent uses a move that involves direct contact, such as Tackle or Body Slam, there is a chance that they will become poisoned as a result of the contact.

In Polished Crystal, Poison Point is found on several poison type Pokémon including Nidoran♀, Nidorina, and Nidoqueen. This ability can be particularly useful in battles where you want to inflict status conditions on your opponents while also dealing damage, and consideirng that poison moves are boosted when the opponent is poisoned, it can create a strategic advantage.
