Throat Spray will activate after a sound-based move like Hyper Voice or Bug Buzz, giving you a +1 Special Attack boost! It's consumed after use.
This is a nice option for special attackers with strong sound moves. You get a free stat boost just from attacking normally. Pokémon with Pixilate or Aerilate Hyper Voice can get boosted fairy/flying-type damage plus the stat increase, making Throat Spray a solid choice for those builds.
