Quick Ball

A Ball for early in a battle.

Quick Ball has an additional 5x multiplier when thrown on the very first turn. After that, it's just a regular Poké Ball, so don't waste them thinking its power decreases instead over turns.

This is one of the best balls in the game for catching wild Pokémon quickly. Throw it immediately on turn one and you'll catch most things without a fight. Essential for anyone who wants to catch Pokémon efficiently. I always lead with a Quick Ball before trying anything else.

Here is an additional tip for using Quick Ball - this can be really useful against roaming Pokémon. You can use a different encounter to weaken it to 1HP with False Swipe and then next encounter use a Quick Ball. This allows you to take advantage of the 5x multiplier AND the low HP bonus that you normally do not get to use together!
