Infatuates the foe back. (Hold) The Destiny Knot has two completely different uses depending on whether you're battling or breeding. In battle, if the holder becomes infatuated, the opponent gets infatuated too. Honestly, that's pretty niche. The real use is breeding though. When one parent holds a Destiny Knot, the offspring inherits 5 IVs from the parents! This is wicked useful for breeding since it makes getting high-IV Pokémon way more consistent. Doesn't matter much if you aren't playing with IV/EVs though. If you're doing any breeding specifically for IV/EVs, get one!
