Stench is an ability that gives moves a 10% chance to make the target flinch. This means that when a Pokémon with Stench uses a move even if it does not cause flinching, there is a 10% chance that the opponent will flinch anyways.
Stench is often found on Poison-type Pokémon, and it adds an extra layer of strategy to their offensive capabilities.
