Type Chart

Attacking and defending effectiveness for every type, exactly as Soulgold's own type data defines it.

What is different from a standard chart

• No main-game type changes. Types are not edited during the story, so the chart you plan around early is the chart you get.
• Postgame innates can add a type. Some Pokémon can pick up an extra type in the postgame through an innate, which is the one place this chart can stop describing a specific Pokémon.
• The Fairy type is present, and several modern types sit alongside it, so the matchups you may remember from Crystal or Emerald are not a reliable guide here.
