What people actually farm for
- Lucky Egg — Pelipper (rare), Happiny and Chansey. The single best held item in the game, given the lilycove training NPCs.
- Heart Scale — Magikarp, Togepi and Feebas always. Feebas is the reliable source, and Heart Scales are what Sylveon and Togekiss evolve with here.
- Big Nugget — Clamperl, rare. Clamperl no longer drops Blue Shards, so this is its payout instead.
- Deep Sea Tooth / Deep Sea Scale — Clamperl (common) and Chinchou/Lanturn (common) respectively. Both are Clamperl evolution items, so you do not need to hunt for them.
- Everstones, Soothe Bell, Macho Brace — Macho Brace is a Battle Frontier shop item rather than a held item, and it multiplies EV gain by 5.
- Shards — Green from Wailmer/Wailord/Relicanth, Red from Corsola/Carvanha/Sharpedo, Yellow from Chinchou/Lanturn (rare), Blue from Tentacool/Tentacruel (rare).
Berry Juice
Shuckle holding a berry has a chance to turn it into Berry Juice after a battle — the Gen II mechanic, restored. It is the only way to get Berry Juice in the game.
