The rival appears in 21 entries covering 41 battles in Johto Legends, from level 6-7 teams in the first encounters up to level 56 in the last. Which version you get depends on your starter: Larvitar and Dratini each have their own copy of every stage. Only one entry carries a name in the source (Dahlia), so the table shows the rest unnamed instead of inventing one.
